WHAT WE DELIVER TO OUR PATIENTS
At Deansbrook Care Centre we aim to maintain your oral health by providing you with comprehensive and detailed advice and treatments. Your dentist will offer you a range of options, in order for you to make informed decisions about your treatments. It is a vital role for us to communicate with our patients and take the time to explain the treatment, cost and any risks associated with it.
We aim to be a part of your journey here at Deansbrook in delivering you with exceptional treatments.
After you have had your check-up, the dentist will provide you with a choice of treatment options, including all of the NHS and private treatments available. It will be clarified before a treatment plan is proposed which treatments can be provided under the NHS and which can only be provided on a private basis.
With our dentists you able to choose a mix of NHS and private treatments at any time. Once we have worked out your treatment plan with you, we will provide you with a fully itemised written quotation.
A brighter, whiter smile can boost your confidence and self-esteem.
Our teeth inevitably become stained by every day activities such as drinking red wine, coffee, eating staining foods, smoking and ageing. Although regular brushing and visits to our hygienist can help to keep your teeth clean and remove surface staining, they cannot remove deeply embedded stains.
Here at Deansbrook Care Centre in Edgware we use the latest Professional Home Whitening system. We can lighten your teeth by several shades whilst you are in the comfort of your own home and help you to maintain a beautiful white smile.
REGULAR CHECK- UPS
We check-up your gums as well as your teeth in our regular appointments to avoid any infections and gum diseases. Your gums are just as important as your teeth, they are the link to the bone holding your teeth to the jaw. Red or swollen gums should not be neglected, leaving them untreated could develop in infection and further may result in losing your tooth.
HYGIENE TREATMENT FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN
In addition to polishing and scaling services for all patients, our qualified hygienists help people with restorations to maintain their feelings, bridges and crowns. They provide plaque removing services as well as teaching patients how to take care of their restorations on a daily basis.
Traditional feelings are amalgams containing mercury, tin, silver and copper. Modern composites are light and sensitive polymers based on quartz. The colour and texture of these polymers are similar to the surrounding tooth structure and they look more natural.
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
Our dental professionals make their best effort to keep as many of your natural teeth as possible. Root canal therapy is a treatment for damaged teeth when the only other way is extracting. It is a complex multi-level treatment but due to our modern tools and techniques, you will not feel any pain at all.
In the case one of your teeth has advanced decay or your wisdom tooth have been impacted, oral surgery may be required to safely extract them. Our dentists perform the surgery with modern equipment in a sterile environment and care you during recovery, easing the swelling and discomfort with painkillers and suitable actions.
You can use dentures if you have missed a part or all of your teeth. Our dentists make your denture to fit on your gums and after that our hygienists support you by taking care of your hygiene routine and diet to avoid bad breath, decays and injured gums. They also guide you how to keep your denture clean and disinfected by special brushes.
CROWNS AND BRIDGES
A stronger option than veneers, crowns are very similar to veneers, but cover the whole tooth. When other options are not suitable, crowns can be the answer.
Dental bridges fill in the gaps between missing teeth and are a better option than dentures. This prosthetic replacement is fitted, instead of removable, so there is no risk of dropping them when out having a lovely meal in a restaurant, which will give you more confidence. Bridges also do not damage the gums and feel more like a part of your body than dentures do.
