GENERAL TREATMENTS
General Dentistry carried out by our professional dentists at Deansbrook Care Centre is as follows:
FILLINGS
Traditional feelings are amalgams containing mercury, tin, silver and copper. Modern composites are light and sensitive polymers based on quartz. The colour and texture of these polymers are similar to the surrounding tooth structure and they look more natural.
ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
Our dental professionals make their best effort to keep as many of your natural teeth as possible. Root canal therapy is a treatment for damaged teeth when the only other way is extracting. It is a complex multi-level treatment but due to our modern tools and techniques, you will not feel any pain at all.
EXTRACTION
In the case one of your teeth has advanced decay or your wisdom tooth have been impacted, oral surgery may be required to safely extract them. Our dentists perform the surgery with modern equipment in a sterile environment and care you during recovery, easing the swelling and discomfort with painkillers and suitable actions.
DENTURES
You can use dentures if you have missed a part or all of your teeth. Our dentists make your denture to fit on your gums and after that our hygienists support you by taking care of your hygiene routine and diet to avoid bad breath, decays and injured gums. They also guide you how to keep your denture clean and disinfected by special brushes.
CROWN & BRIDGES
A stronger option than veneers, crowns are very similar to veneers, but cover the whole tooth. When other options are not suitable, crowns can be the answer.
Dental bridges fill in the gaps between missing teeth and are a better option than dentures. This prosthetic replacement is fitted, instead of removable, so there is no risk of dropping them when out having a lovely meal in a restaurant, which will give you more confidence. Bridges also do not damage the gums and feel more like a part of your body than dentures do.
